2024 MAY, NURSERY IN ARMAVIR UNDER CONSTRUCTION
On January 17, 2024, we laid the first stone of our nursery in Armavir (Armenia), in front of the Ararat, the sacred mountain where Noah’s Ark stopped.
This small project is the first building of the Armavir COAF Smart Campus, the result of an international competition we won in 2022 and promoted by the Children of Armenia Foundation to improve education in rural areas.
The nursery, with only one floor, will be simple and precise. The solution adopted is a square structure of 20×20 meters with equidistant pillars 6.6 meters in a kind of large table, all in grey exposed concrete. Under it run white walls 3 meters high containing the program of uses. Externally, everything is closed with 2.40 m high white walls, guaranteeing the required security.
The next building will be the school, a three-story white cube on top of a central hill of the Campus, so that the view of Mount Ararat, of Noah and his Ark, will be perfect.
