Campo Baeza. Selected Works is an update of the complete monograph previously published in 2014 by Thames & Hudson which sold out in less than a year and which was later republished by ORO Publisher and also sold out.
During this time Alberto Campo Baeza has continued to build works of enormous interest. And teaching at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid and at other universities such as NYIT in New York in 2021 or Columbia University in 2022. And writing educational and informative texts, published in more than 40 books.
The cover of this new monograph features the now legendary Casa del Infinito in Tarifa, Cádiz, in an iconic image by Javier Callejas. The architect and photographer is responsible for the wonderful images that convey Campo Baeza’s architecture so well.
Once again, Kenneth Frampton has written an interesting essay on Campo Baeza’s recent work, which demonstrates his generosity. The book also includes texts by Richard Meier, Jesús Aparicio, Manuel Blanco and David Chipperfield.
The exquisitely designed monograph contains exhaustive information on Campo Baeza’s work from its beginnings, with a special emphasis on recent years. It is well worth getting hold of.
