1998 National Museum of Maritime Archeology, Cartagena
The project is for a museum at the edge of the sea in Cartagena, to house Phoenician ships and archeologycal remains found at the bottom of the Mediterranean. The idea is to create a dry dock carved from the jetty itself. The ships float in the air. Above, covered with a lightbox in delicate glass and steel.
