Alberto Campo Baeza

This book, published by Ediciones Asimétricas, brings together the “Seven Lessons in Architecture” given in 2024 by seven emeritus professors of the Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM-UPM). The initiative is a continuation of the “Seven Architecture Lessons” given by Campo Baeza in 2023, consolidating the relationship between the ETSAM and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando, his alma mater.

For seven weeks, seven invited professors shared their reflections on essential topics in architecture, the fruit of decades of dedication to teaching, research and professional practice. These talks attracted a large number of students, architects and architecture lovers, and are now collected in these seven texts together with their illustrations. The book reflects the high level of the lectures and the professors who generously gave them: Juan Navarro Baldeweg, José Ignacio Linazasoro, Antón Capitel, Carlos Sambricio, Gabriel Ruiz Cabrero, Margarita de Luxán, Juan Navarro Baldeweg, José Ignacio Linazasoro, Antón Capitel, Carlos Sambricio, Gabriel Ruiz Cabrero, Margarita de Luxán and Ignacio Vicens.

Alberto Campo Baeza, Juan Navarro Baldeweg, José Ignacio Linazasoro, Antón Capitel, Carlos Sambricio, Gabriel Ruiz Cabrero, Margarita de Luxán and Ignacio Vicens are Emeritus Professors of the School of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
